Photographer

Petr Zinke studied art photography at the Faculty of Film and TV, Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (1993 -1998) after which he began teaching landscape photography at the same school. He has been a photographer at the IAH CAS since 2002. Zinke makes professional photographic documentation of both Czech and international architecture, sculptures, paintings, drawings, prints and applied art objects for IAH's purposes.

In his freelance work, Zinke focuses on fine-art photography, working with landscape motifs. He has made extensive use of contact copying in his work. In recent years, he has also been using colour elements in landscape photography. He experiments with bringing together visuality with music and theatre performances and depicting classical music performances through photography.
