Barbora Řepková focuses on the history of modern architecture. She studied Art History at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, where she continues her doctoral studies. The subject of her dissertation project is architectural education at Czech schools during the interwar period. At the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic she works on a grant project focusing on the activities of the Czech and Austrian Ministries of Public Works "Invisible Agents" in Architecture (1908-38), in which she is researching in particular the architecture of school buildings and the state's contribution to their construction. She has recently participated as an external collaborator in the National Gallery Prague and the Academy of Arts Architecture & Design in Prague research project Women in Architecture.
