On 17 - 18 September 2022, the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences organizes the international musicological conference in Český Krumlov under the title “Le forme dell’opera italiana del 18° secolo nei diversi paesi della regione transalpina”. The event under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, in cooperation with the Center for Baroque Culture in Český Krumlov, the Hof-Musici ensemble and the Mozart Society in the Czech Republic is financially supported by the program Strategy AV21 of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The conference will take place in the Castle Study Center in Český Krumlov as part of the Festival of Baroque Arts and on the occasion of the modern world premiere of Giovanni Buonaventura Viviani’s opera “La Vaghezza del Fato”.
