PhDr. Kristina Uhlíková, Ph.D.

Researcher and Head of the Documentation Department.

Kristina Uhlíková studied History of Art (M.A. 1999) and Archives (B.A. 1997) at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Olomouc. Since 2000, she has been working in the Documentation Department of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, first as a professional worker and then, after completing her doctorate, as a researcher. He manages written archival collections stored in this department. He focuses on the history of Czechoslovak monument conservation, historiography of art history, provenance research and Czech cultural history of the second half of the 19th and 20th centuries. It also deals with editorial access to historical scientific texts. She was the principal investigator of the grant project Searching for the provenance of movable cultural property nationalized in 1945 for citizens of German nationality in the North Bohemian region (NAKI II). She is currently the principal investigator of the project Monuments and Society in the Czech Lands between 1900 and 1960: Professional and Personal Strategies of Monument Preservationists in the Light of Private Correspondence (NAKI III).
