Tereza Cíglerová studied paper conservation at the Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice and art history at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. She completed an internship at the Norwegian national museum of photography (Preus Museum) and since 2009 she has been working as a restorer and conservator of photographic materials, while also providing preventive care for collection items. In 2011 Cíglerová joined the IAH CAS as a conservator. She is currently a co-investigator of the project Monuments and Society in the Czech Lands between 1900 and 1960: Professional and Personal Strategies of Monument Preservationists in the Light of Private Correspondence (NAKI III) and she is collaborating on the project The Oldest Photographs in the Polná Municipal Museum: Rescue, research, accessibility (CAS Regional Cooperation programme). She was a co-investigator of the project Josef Sudek and the Photographic Reproduction of Artworks: From Private Art Archive to Representation of Cultural Heritage (NAKI II).
